Here are 3 PSA (Public service announcement) concepts i came up with for bringing awareness to drunk driving related fatalities and an increase in organ donations.
concept #1 - DReams
In this PSA, a person begins talking to the camera about what they want to become or do but suddenly vanishes mid sentence, and a caption then appears on screen saying that they were killed by a drunk driving related accident. This concept also emphasises how quickly a life can change due to drunk driving related fatalities.
Concept #2 - Be a hero
This PSA starts with 2 friends drinking and socializing at a party. The gentleman goes to grab his keys to driving home. The girl quickly stops the man from grabbing his keys. They exchange a few words about how its not too far of a drive and its better to find a ride instead of driving.
the next cutscene shows a person gravely injured from a car accident. The doctor explains that they need a kidney transplant. Then the girl from earlier runs through the door and slaps a kidney on the table, smiles, gives a thumbs up and walks away.
The last caption would read be a hero, big or small.
Concept #3 - best friends till death
the psa opens up with a group of young boys drinking at a house party having fun and laughing with each other. they are cheering each other and talking. they are talking about how they are best friends and that they are thankful for each other. then one boy jokingly says, "I would die for you all." and they all 1 by 1 say the same thing jokingly. Then they ask who's driving, and john, who appears slightly intoxicated claims he'll drive since he always drives. They drive off and the scene fades to black as you hear a loud crashing sound. then a caption appears "John's friends said they would die for him." then after reading a second caption appears below.
"They did."
